Title: Project Manager (Climate Strategy)

Contract Duration: 12 months to start – contract only for now, but could change

Location: no preference on either location

• McLean, VA 22102

Schedule / Hours : Monday – Friday (8am – 5pm EST)

Hybrid: 3 days per week between Mon – Thurs

Climate Strategy – Company’s climate strategy centers on measurable, science-driven emissions reduction, clean energy procurement, sustainable financing, and operational improvements.

What we’re looking for:

• MUST have 6-7+ years of Project Management or Program Management experience within a large corporate environment - will require organizational skills – roadmaps, deliverables, documentation on status and intent
• Climate Strategy Project Management experience is a plus.
• MUST have experience with G Suite and Lucidchart is highly preferred
• PMP certifications or lean certifications will be a plus

Job Description

Seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the cross-functional implementation of the enterprise Climate Strategy. This role plays a critical part in delivering on climate strategy, which spans across 10–15 complex work streams.

The ideal candidate profile requires strong organizational leadership, strategic thinking, and a track record of managing enterprise-level programs in large corporate environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead large-scale program supporting climate strategy, managing 10–15 work streams with 15–20 cross-functional stakeholders.
• Develop and manage program documentation, including roadmaps, decision logs, and milestone tracking.
• Partner closely with the Climate Strategy core team (including your manager and one peer), as well as external and internal teams, to drive timely delivery.
• Ensure alignment with broader strategic goals and climate commitments.
