Employment Type: Part-Time (20 - 25 hours per week)

Core Hours: Morning EST hours

Role Summary:

We are seeking a CDI-P certified thought leader with deep expertise in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and clinical documentation workflows to serve as a strategic advisor and ambassador for DAX/Dragon Copilot . This role will bridge clinical operations, product development, and AI-driven documentation tools, ensuring that our healthcare clients and internal teams are equipped to optimize back-office workflows and improve documentation quality.

Key Responsibilities:

🧠 Thought Leadership & Market Influence

• Represent the organization as a coding and RCM expert at conferences, advisory boards, and customer meetings.
• Serve as a public-facing voice for Dragon Copilot, articulating its value in clinical and operational settings.
• Present the Revenue Cycle vision and product roadmap to internal and external stakeholders.

🩺 Clinical & Coding Expertise

• Act as the authority on U.S. coding guidelines , including inpatient and outpatient HIM standards.
• Provide expert guidance on contextual data required for accurate documentation and billing.
• Evaluate and validate coding outputs generated by AI tools like DAX Copilot.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to shape revenue cycle features and ensure clinical accuracy.

🧩 Workflow Design & Product Guidance

• Guide Product Managers and Engineers on physician and back-office RCM workflows .
• Inform UI/UX design to ensure intuitive and compliant user experiences.
• Translate features from outpatient to inpatient applications, ensuring consistency and scalability.

Qualifications:

• CDI-P Certification (AHIMA or equivalent) – required.
• 5+ years of experience in hospital-based RCM , clinical documentation improvement , or healthcare operations .
• Strong understanding of clinical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT), medical terminology , and EHR platforms (especially Epic).
• Experience working with or implementing AI-driven documentation tools like DAX Copilot or Dragon Medical One.
• Proven ability to present at conferences and influence cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in healthcare product management , clinical informatics , or health IT consulting .
• Familiarity with FHIR , HL7 , and other healthcare interoperability standards.
• Prior experience in training or enablement roles within a healthcare technology environment.

Compensation / Salary Range: The typical pay range for this role is: USD $60/hr - $70/hr. Factors that may affect pay within or outside of this range may include but not limited to geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
