As our pet department expands, the team is in need of talented designers who can concept projects and design for a variety of licenses. You’ll work across a variety of products, including toys, home goods, and collars, leashes and harnesses, owning the process from concept to final delivery. You will collaborate across departments to execute according to client’s vision.
Responsibilities Include:
• Utilize assets provided by licensors to design original products and lines
• Edit/revise designs based off Licensor feedback
• Create cost sheets & tech packs as needed
• Understand customer needs and design according to their specs
• Research and identify trends in worlds of pet toys and accessories
• Apply knowledge from prior licensor and buyer feedback to future projects
• Collaborate with production to troubleshoot factory limitations and maintain design aesthetic
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a design related field
• 2+ experience in a product design role (pet industry preferred)
• Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite ( Illustrator, Photoshop )
• Candidate must be a team player and able to manage multiple projects at a time
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team
• Positive “Can Do” attitude
• Authorized to work in the US
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000
