A typical day involves coding engine health algorithms, data mining to validate the engine health algorithms, and data mining and analysis to support product problems. One might move between several tasks in the day, or stay focused on a single task. The time is spent in front of a computer writing code to analyze and visualize data. Results are discussed with other team members, and the tasks are refined based upon each result.
