We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Cook with professional kitchen experience, preferably in fine dining or high-end restaurants. The successful candidate will have proven ability to lead stations, plate with precision, and assist in expediting service. This role demands a passion for culinary excellence, meticulous attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit.

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in alignment with menu standards.
• Lead stations effectively during service and ensure smooth execution.
• Plate dishes with consistency and attention to presentation.
• Assist in expediting orders to maintain the flow of service. 
• Support banquet functions and a la carte service.
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a cook
• A fine dining or high-end restaurant experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor development, and presentation.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
• Valid Food Handler’s Certification.

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch. 
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
• Frequent physical effort in transporting packages, cases, or objects of up to 50 lbs.
• Endure variable temperature conditions, indoor and outdoor.
• Hazards include, but are not limited to, burns, slips, trips, and cuts from knives, broken glass, and metal cans. 
• Frequent washing of hands.
• Required to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.
