Job Description

What is the role of a COO?

Key Leader who will be the second in command, reporting to the chief executive officer (CEO). While a CEO is concerned with long-term business goals, you will be focusing more on implementing company strategies into daily operations to meet objectives. Most prominent scope in the job are:-

  • Overseeing day-to-day business operations and processes
  • Implementing strategies to improve efficiency and productivity of operations
  • Managing and optimizing company resources, including human capital and technology
  • Collaborating with other executives to align operational goals with overall business strategy

Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and driving continuous improvement

  • Persona : Ideally a healthcare professional that has started as a Nurse or a home based care giving and eventually grew in career to a leadership role with strong knowledge in operational and functional expertise. One who has market knowledge with specific clientele in the NER.
  • Characteristics : Strategic leader, strong communicator, excellent orator, matured & professional personality, master in engaging with different groups, adaptable, innovative & strong motivator.
  • Not : Beaurocratic working style, instructor, rigid & lone warriorQualifications:

Must have:

  • 10 plus years of progressive experience with last 3yrs as a successful operational leadership role in a home health care agency
  • Experience leading a team of 250-500 staff in the organization that includes both direct & indirect.
  • Meet all the Federal, State and ACHC accreditation requirements
  • Experience as a HIPAA Privacy Officer appreciated.
  • Health care degree and experience as Physician, RN, Nurse Practitioner, occupational therapist, physical therapist, etc
  • Extremely tech savvy - has worked in all cloud, office, communication and other collaborative tools to promote "paperless" and digitalization in operations.
  • Active MA RN License

Good to have:

  • Client engagement or financial revenue generation responsibility
  • Experience in design & implementing creative & scalable cost management process
  • Pragmatic in optimizing the analytics and metrics to improve output optimization

Will not be a match if:

  • You have never worked in homecare services within the healthcare industry
  • You have not led a team or managed the patient acquisition business
