We are a Fifty-Five -year-old North-East Ohio Construction Company that has been involved with some of the most successful projects in the area. It's time to expand our team and we are looking for people with a good work attitude who are interested in establishing a career in the construction industry. We need a Construction Superintendent for the continual growth of our company. Our projects include but are not limited to; water and wastewater, foundations for water towers, mechanical piping (in and above ground), rebar, concrete work, carpentry, and excavation.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Background in water/wastewater is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate construction projects from start to finish
- Address any issues or obstacles.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for deliveries and stages of project progress
- Implement quality control measures to ensure work meets standards
- Review and interpret project plans and specifications
- Enforce safety protocols
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
- Conduct inspections of the job sites
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management, supervising, and contract administration
- Strong understanding of construction estimating and quality control processes
- Familiarity with reading prints
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
