We need a Construction Superintendent for the continual growth of our company. Our projects include but are not limited to; water and wastewater, foundations for water towers, mechanical piping (in and above ground), rebar, concrete work, carpentry, and excavation.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Background in water/wastewater is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate construction projects from start to finish
- Address any issues or obstacles.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for deliveries and stages of project progress
- Implement quality control measures to ensure work meets standards
- Review and interpret project plans and specifications
- Enforce safety protocols
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
- Conduct inspections of the job sites
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management, supervising, and contract administration
- Strong understanding of construction estimating and quality control processes
- Familiarity with reading prints
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
