Position: Commercial Service Plumber

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

• Installation, modification and/or repair of commercial plumbing systems.
• Evaluating, diagnosing, and recommending repair or replacement measures.
• Testing and thorough clean-up of completed work.
• Responsible for company vehicle, tools and equipment, both cleanliness and maintenance.
• On-call rotations as needed.
• On-the-job tasks such as digging, soldering, core drilling.
• Basic knowledge of rough-in.
• Accurate use of tape measure.
• Knowledge of basic math, including fractions.
• Knowledge of current code.
• Copper, PVC, CPVC, and cast-iron installations.
• Understanding of sanitary systems and venting.
• Ability to perform tub sets (cast iron & steel), and second rough-ins.
• Shower pan installations.
• Proper heights, strapping and support of stub outs.
• Proper sealing of all openings (rodent proof).
• Problem solving/troubleshooting.
• Any reasonable job or task assigned by supervisor or management.

Job Requirements:

• Proven track record in commercial plumbing.
• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in service plumbing.
• Valid FL Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Solid understanding of commercial water distribution systems and disposal systems.
• Experience in commercial hot water systems.
• Willing to work a 40-hour work week, every week.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers.
• Positive initiative-taker who is coachable and willing to learn new things.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions (e.g. heat, cold, etc.)
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than one-hundred (100) pounds
