Project Manager Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee roofing projects within the commercial sector. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing all aspects of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities - Spearhead projects around $300k in bid value
- Sell, estimate and manage projects
- Lead and manage roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and present project proposals, bids, and estimates to clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor project performance, generate reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Develop project schedules and allocate resources effectively to optimize productivity.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
Qualifications - 5+ years of commercial roofing project management, estimating, sales experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems and project management principles.
- Commercial estimating experience (EDGE software)
- Experience with roofing new construction and re-roof systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with estimating software, such as EDGE, and budgeting processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices in construction.
