Job Title: Commercial Property & Leasing Coordinator

Location: Brunswick, GA 31525 (100% Onsite)

Pay Rate: $30.00/hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional evenings, rare weekends)

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (conversion dependent on performance, attendance, and business needs)

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Commercial Property & Leasing Coordinator to support its Property Department across two locations. This individual contributor role is central to managing over 200 commercial property tenants, coordinating lease agreements, maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting marketing efforts, and facilitating communication between stakeholders. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, is comfortable handling administrative complexity, and brings a customer-focused approach to all interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lease & Agreement Management: Draft, track, and maintain commercial leases, contracts, parking and service agreements. Coordinate approvals and facilitate document execution.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for inquiries from tenants, vendors, and the public. Prepare professional correspondence and manage ongoing tenant relations.
  • Scheduling & Meeting Coordination: Coordinate complex internal and external meetings using Microsoft Outlook. Assist with community events, presentations, and executive travel arrangements.
  • Policy & Compliance Support: Maintain departmental policies and procedures. Ensure documentation meets regulatory and airport compliance standards (FAA, TSA, etc.).
  • Procurement & Project Oversight: Manage RFPs, RFIs, and vendor interactions. Track project timelines and coordinate contract execution.
  • Regulatory & Development Liaison: Partner with developers, attorneys, and zoning officials to ensure property development complies with airport and FAA guidelines.
  • Marketing Assistance: Support Marketing Coordinator with property listings, digital content creation using WordPress and Canva, and public communications.
  • Digital Records Management: Maintain accurate digital files, website content, and reports in compliance with state retention policies.
  • Onsite Property Support: Monitor and initiate work orders, assist in property inspections, and notify tenants of operational updates such as taxiway closures.
  • Reporting & Research: Conduct research related to regulations, commercial property trends, and lease best practices. Prepare summaries and contribute to internal reports.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; administrative or real estate coursework preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional office setting, ideally within commercial real estate, legal, or government.
  • Georgia Real Estate License (required for permanent conversion); must be currently licensed or actively pursuing licensure.
  • Valid Georgia Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
  • Notary Public certification (or ability to obtain).

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint), Zoom, and database systems.
  • Experience with WordPress and Canva is highly preferred.
  • Ability to read maps, legal documents, and comprehend complex agreements.
  • Comfortable attending public meetings, community events, and interacting with government officials.
  • Eagerness to learn airport operations, FAA/TSA regulations, and contribute to a team-oriented environment.

Work Environment & Requirements:

  • Office-based role with occasional outdoor property inspections.
  • Light travel within the Brunswick area using personal or company vehicle.
  • Occasional lifting (up to 10 lbs).
  • Will occasionally join executive team meetings and attend public-facing events.

Important Notes:

  • This is a commercial real estate-focused position. Residential real estate experience is not applicable.
  • This is a contract-to-hire role ; permanent conversion is contingent on performance, business needs, and obtaining/maintaining a valid Georgia Real Estate License.
  • Ideal for candidates with a background in commercial real estate, legal administration, government relations, or marketing.
