Chief Pilot – Lead Our Flight Operations (Located In Colorado)
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and safety-driven Chief Pilot to lead our flight operations. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee pilots, ensure top-tier safety and compliance, and set the tone for professionalism and service. In addition to supervising the flight department, you’ll stay active in the cockpit, flying both domestic and international trips.

What You’ll Do
Lead and mentor flight crew members—providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Oversee daily flight operations, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company policies.
Maintain and enforce SOPs to ensure safety and efficiency.
Actively participate in flying duties, including international trips.
Manage pilot scheduling, flight readiness, and duty limitations.
Partner with maintenance teams and vendors to support inspections and audits.
Oversee training records, flight hours, certifications, and compliance documentation.
Work with leadership on safety initiatives and departmental goals.
Promote a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.
What We’re Looking For
10,000+ total flight hours , including:
5,000 hours in turbine aircraft
5,000 hours as Pilot in Command
FAA First Class Medical & Commercial Pilot Certificate
Challenger 604 type rating preferred
5+ years of corporate aviation experience
Experience in both domestic & international operations
Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations and SMS programs
Professional, discreet, and service-oriented demeanor
Valid, unrestricted passport
Bonus Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Proven ability to lead teams and foster a positive culture
Technically skilled with a proactive, hands-on leadership style
