Hourly Rate: $20.00 – 26.00/ Hour on W2 ONLY

Job Description:

Executes laboratory tasks as directed, adhering to set quality standards.
Under guidance and supervision of the chemists/manager, makes batches of skincare prototypes, keeping accurate records of experimental processes, observations, and results in a lab notebook.
Performs and tracks stability on formulas made.
Proactively reports any stability concerns to the chemists/manager.
Manages raw material inventory.
Must be detailed-oriented.
May provide creative and resourceful solutions to issues which may arise during the product development process.
Interfaces with various support groups within R&D.
Potential to extend contract at the end of the year.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science or related field.
3+ years maximum of laboratory experience, preferably in cosmetic formulation development.
Relevant experience in other industries will be considered.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical information.
A collaborative and proactive team player with a positive attitude.
