**About the Company**

Founded in Los Angeles, Audrea Inc. specializes in young contemporary dress brands that are feminine and stylish. The company has grown into a prominent dress manufacturer, offering impeccable designs at affordable prices for department and specialty stores.

**Position: Fashion Designer**

**Responsibilities:**

- Design and develop dress styles for Minuet and private labels for major department store accounts.

- Research current fashion trends and generate new ideas through competitive shopping, runway shows, and style websites.

- Translate design direction and fabric/trim selections into original designs.

- Collaborate with the Design Team to create tech packs, ensuring designs accurately translate into development samples.

- Attend fittings and follow up on changes and fit corrections.

- Communicate daily with overseas vendors.

- Oversee product styles from sketch to production.

- Ensure prototype samples are prepared for presentation.

**Requirements:**

- Excellent knowledge of various fabrics and garment construction.

- Good verbal and written communication skills for effectively interacting with overseas factories.

- Strong fashion sense with the ability to read and forecast trends.

**Skills and Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Apparel Design.

- 2-3 years of experience in Apparel Design, particularly in dresses and woven tops.

- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

- Strong design aesthetic, color sense, and conceptual skills.

- Comprehensive knowledge of silhouettes, fabrications, color/print usage, embellishment layouts, and trims.

- Excellent communication and follow-up skills.

- Flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment.

- Team player who is open to direction and works well under pressure.

**Job Type:** Full-time

**Salary:** $50,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year, depending on experience
