LINK Staffing is proud to partner with a leading manufacturer in Katy, TX, to hire an experienced Assembly Supervisor for their 2nd shift operations. Now Hiring: Assembly Supervisor – 2nd Shift | $28–$32/hr

Location: Katy, TX

Pay Rate: $28–$32/hour (Based on Experience)

Shift: 2nd Shift | Full-Time | On-Site

Industry: Manufacturing / Assembly / Production

Role Overview

The Assembly Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day assembly operations, managing and training personnel, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and supporting continuous improvement efforts on the floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, instruct, and assign work to assembly personnel
• Receive and verify parts from Marshalling; check for defects or missing components
• Issue work orders, schematics, and instructions to the assembly team
• Ensure tools are functional and correctly set up for each assembler
• Train new employees and assist with troubleshooting issues on the line
• Perform in-process inspections and coordinate repairs for defects
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized workstations using 5S principles
• Monitor productivity and address any delays, absences, or technical problems
• Evaluate assembler performance, maintain schedules, and initiate disciplinary actions when necessary
• Conduct interviews and assessments for new hires
• Report issues that may affect production timelines

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or assembly
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC use
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to read work orders and technical drawings
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and forklifts
• Knowledge of safety protocols and quality standards
